Willow Pond Bed and Breakfast and DMT Catering are teaming up to offer fun new culinary classes!

These mid-week classes are taught by chef, Diana Tarasiewicz, in the intimate setting of the Willow Pond kitchen.

TUESDAY MAY 6

MEDITERRANEAN GRAINS AND GREENS: GREAT FOOD ON A GLUTENFREE DIET! DEMO CLASS
If you run out of ideas or are bored with what you can eat on a gluten-free diet, this class is for you.
Learn how to use a wide variety of lentils, beans, rices, quinoa, amaranth and great greens such as Swiss chard,
leeks and escarole to make a variety of tasty dishes.

SILK ROAD COOKING
A vegetarian journey from China to the Mediterranean.
For centuries, along with the silk, ivory, incense and other trade goods flowing over the vast network,
vegetables, fruits, grains and cooking techniques passed from one civilization to
another to be absorbed and transformed into local specialties.
his process of mutual enrichment shaped the cuisines of far-flung cultures in profound ways,
especially their vegetarian dishes. Explore the silk road with us, through many different cuisines.

 

WEDNESDAY MAY 14

SICILY – TRADITIONAL RECIPES FROM THE MOST SOUTHERN PART OF ITALY.
In the south of Italy there is a magnificent cuisine hidden away from the outside world,
the recipes passed down for generations within the families of the region known for centuries as the kingdom of the Two Sicilies.

Experience this wonderful part of the world with us.

 

THURSDAY MAY 15

LOUISIANA CLASSICS

Come enjoy traditional Louisiana dishes such as Chicken Andouille Gumbo and Shrimp etouffé, and learn to make roux like a pro.
Wear your Mardi Gras beads and “Laissez les bons temps rouler”

POTS OF GOLD

Fun with fondue! From meat and shrimp in a hot oil fondue to Smoky chipotle fondue, Hot broth fondue,
Queso fondue and Chocolate peanut butter fondue. Grab your fondue forks and come have some fun!
